For international families

A sports club for your children — in the heart of Parque das Nações

Get in touch

Gymnastics and tennis for children aged 4 and up, a few minutes from home. Don’t speak Portuguese? That’s fine. Start here.

Two sports, one welcoming club. Since 2005, Navigators Sports Club has been a home for children in Parque das Nações — a place to move, make friends and grow. Whether your child dreams of competing or simply wants to have fun and stay active, there’s a place for them here. Here’s what we offer.

TeamGym

Our gymnastics programme follows TeamGym — a fun, team-based discipline that builds strength, coordination and confidence. Children train together on floor, tumbling track and trampette, learning to support one another as much as to perform. They progress at their own pace, from their very first steps at age 4 to national-level competition. Along the way, they gain more than skills: focus, discipline, and the quiet confidence that comes from belonging to a team.

Tennis

Our tennis school welcomes children from age 4, using the progressive red, orange and green stages — so every child learns with the right ball, racket and court size for their age. In small groups and with patient, experienced coaches, they build technique and a real love of the game. Some go on to compete; many simply enjoy a sport they can play for life. Either way, they’re known by name from their very first lesson.

More than a club

Founded in 2005 in the heart of Parque das Nações, Navigators Sports Club began with a simple idea: that sport, taught well, shapes far more than athletes. Two decades on, we’re two sports, two venues and around 300 members — from age 4 to well past 65. A community that recognises itself on and off the training floor.

We’re a non-profit club, and that shapes everything: we’re here for the children and families, not for a margin. In TeamGym, the club is a four-time national champion, with athletes competing internationally. In tennis, we’ve collected more than 50 national titles — junior, senior and veteran. And we stay close to our neighbourhood, working with the local residents’ association to bring sport and community together.
